Zafrani seviyan
These special dessert recipe empower us with control over oil, thus allowing us to be in command over our own lives.

INGREDIENTS :
- Vermicelli 1-2 packets or as desired
- Strands saffron 10-15
- Skimmed Milk 1 ½ litre
- Sugar 8 tbsp
- Raisins 20
- Green cardamom Powder 1tsp
- Almond silvers (toasted) 1 tbsp
PREPARATION :
- Heat a non stick pan & roast vermicelli on moderate heat till lightly browned.
- Pour milk into a deep pan & bring to a boil.
- Lower heat and simmer till reduced to half quantity.
- Add sugar and cook it dissolves
- Add vermicelli and raisins and cook for 2 minutes.
- Take the pan off the heat.
- Add saffron and green cardamom powders and stir well.
- Serve hot or cold, decorate with toasted almond silvers.
