Roasted Asparagus and Garlic

PREPARATION TIME :10 minutes

COOKING TIME :20-25 minutes

TOTAL TIME :30-35 minutes

SERVES :6

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 12 cloves garlic

 

  • 6 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cups diagonally sliced asparagus

 

METHOD

  • First preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Then tear off 6 large pieces of foil.
  • separate all garlic, olive oil, wine, asparagus.
  • Then thyme and position them on every piece of foil.
  • Fold over each foil packet to close.
  • Next place the packets on a baking sheet
  • Roast for 20 to 25 minutes until the asparagus is tender, but still a little crisp.
  • Then carefully unlock packets and dish up asparagus with juices poured on top.
