Patishapta Recipe
A Bengali sweet dish recipe,Patishapta (pancakes with coconut filling) is easy to prepare and a must have during festivals and winters.

Cooking Time : 30 - 35 mins
SERVES : 2
INGREDIENTS :
For Batter :
- Rice powder - 2 cup
- Flour - 1/2 cup
- Cold Milk or Water - 1-1/2 cup
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Sugar - 2 tsp
For coconut Pur:
- Fresh grated Coconut - 500 gms
- Jagerry - 500 gm
- Oil to make it - 1 cup
METHOD
- Mix all ingredients together and make a batter and keep aside for 10 minutes.
- Take a kadai. Put it on low flame and add jaggery.
- After it is melt, add coconut and cook untill it makes a sticky dough like mixture.
- Cool the mixture.
- Take a pan and heat it and add 1 tsp of oil and spread it.
- Put some batter in the pan and spread it lightly.
- A pan-cake type will appear.
- Then, stuff the coconut pur and rolled it. Serve hot.
