Moong Dal Usal Recipe
Moong Dal Usal has a typical taste and aroma that can make your mouth water. It's an awesome lips making dish.

INGREDIENTS
- ½ cup washed and drained Moong Dal
- 4 Green Chillies
- 1 pinch Asafoetida
- ½ tsp Sugar
- 2 tsp Oil
- ½ tsp Mustard Seeds
- 5 Curry Leaves
- 1 tbsp Fresh and Frozen Coconut
- Salt to taste
METHOD
- At first takes a pan and pours oil for heating purpose.
- Then add mustard seeds with it.
- When it start to crackle add curry leaves green chillies and asafoetida for frying for a minute.
- Then put moong dal in it and let it fry for 5 minutes.
- Now put 2 cups of water in it all along with salt as per taste.
- Put a lid over the pan and cook till the dal is tender.
- Now add sugar in it. Then mix it well.
- Garnish the prepared dal with coconut.
- Serve it hot.
