Brandy Fix Recipe

INGREDIENTS
- 1 fl oz (25 ml) brandy
- ½ fl oz (12 ml) cherry brandy
- 1 fl oz (25 ml) lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons sugar syrup
- crushed ice cubes as required
- 2 slices of lime
METHOD
- Place crushed ice in old-fashioned glass(es). Pour the brandy, cherry brandy, lemon juice, and sugar syrup over the ice.
- Serve decorated with slices of lime.
TIP :
To make sugar syrup, bring to boil on low heat in a small saucepan 3 tablespoons water and 3 tablespoons sugar stirring continuously so as to dissolve the sugar. Simmer for about a minute or two without stirring.
