Manhattan recipe
A Manhattan is a cocktail made with whiskey, sweet vermouth, and bitters. Commonly used whiskeys include rye, Canadian whisky, bourbon, blended whiskey and Tennessee whiskey. The cocktail is often stirred with ice and strained into a cocktail glass, where it is garnished with a Maraschino cherry with a stem.

INGREDIENTS
- Measuring cup
- Glass
- Ice
- 1/4 cup of cranberry juice
- 1/4 cup of orange juice
- Cherry flavored syrup
- Lemon juice
- Cranberry juice
- Orange juice
PREPARATION:
- Fill a medium-sized glass with ice cubes. Substitute shaved or crushed ice if you prefer.
- Measure out 1/4 cup of cranberry juice and pour over the ice. Now, add 1/4 cup of orange juice.
- Splash the fruit juice mixture with a shot or two of cherry flavored syrup for added flavor. This is a "to taste" ingredient, so you may have to fudge the amount a little.
- Squirt in a little lemon juice. Do not overdo the lemon juice, especially if you are using a lemon juice concentrate.
- Serve and drink immediately. This will make a single non-alcoholic Manhattan.
