Iced Chocolate Biscuits
A fun snack of iced biscuits rich in carbohydrates and sugar.

SERVES : 12
INGREDIENT
- 1-2 packets of sweet biscuits (any brand) – based on number of guests
- 4 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 Tbsp corn flour
- 10 Tbsp of castor sugar or powdered sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla essence
- 2 cups milk
METHOD
- Mix the milk, cocoa powder, corn flour, castor sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl.
- Stir well and ensure there are no lumps.
- Place the mixture in a saucepan and cook for 7-8 minutes on low flame, stirring constantly.
- When the sauce begins to thicken remove it from the heat and cool.
- Place the biscuits on a plate and pour the chocolate sauce over each biscuit.
- Refrigerate the biscuits for 2-3 hours.
- Remove from the fridge when you are ready to serve.
TIPS : You can also sprinkle some grated chocolate to an additional texture before refrigerating
