Hash Brown Potatoes Recipe

INGREDIENTS- Potatoes 6 medium
- Butter 3 teaspoons
- Onion 1 medium
- Salt to taste
- Peppercorns, ground 1 teaspoon
- Nutmeg a pinch
- Fresh parsley a few sprigs
METHOD
Heat butter in a pan. Add onion and sauté till translucent. Remove from heat. Preheat oven to 200?C. Mix grated potatoes and sautéed onions along with salt, half teaspoon of ground peppercorns, nutmeg powder and chopped parsley.Mix well and arrange potato mixture in a tray and spread evenly with hand. Apply some butter on top and sprinkle the remaining peppercorns. Bake in the preheated oven at 200?C for ten to fifteen minutes or till the mixture gets a light brown colour. Serve hot.
