Green Mango and Onion Chutney Recipe 

This dish is as versatile as it is delicious, because you can vary the fresh herbs depending on the rest of your menu or what's in the supermarket or garden.

 

Green Mango and Onion Chutney

PREPARATION TIME : 20 minutes

COOKING TIME : 15 minutes

INGREDIENTS
  • Green unripe mangoes (peeled) 3 medium
  • Onion (grated) 2 medium
  • Green chillies (chopped) 4-6
  • Pomegranate seeds 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp

 

  • Black salt ½ tsp
  • Salt to teste
  • Sugar ½ tsp

 

PREPARATION:

 

Put the green mangoes, green chillies, pomegranate seeds, lemon juice, salt & sugar into a blender and blend till smooth. Adjust the consistency by adding the water. Squeeze the grated onion to remove excess juice and add to the chutney.
