This recipe is a baked version of French Toasts that you can serve as fillers on Easter without worrying about high calorie intake from the fried version."

Ingredients For French Toast Recipe :
  • French loaf bread :     15 ounce
  • large eggs :     8
  • cinnamon and nutmeg :     1/4th teaspoon
  • vanilla extract :     1 teaspoon
  • milk :     1 cup
  • syrup and sauce :    

Preparation Method for French Toast Recipe :

  • You need a loaf of French bread of superior quality.
  • Slice the big loaf of French bread into small size of say 1 inch each. The actual size is immaterial but you must ensure that all toasts are of uniform size.
  • Butter the loaves properly and arrange them in a baking dish.
  • Take a separate bowl and in it pour 8 large eggs by splicing them into half and add a cup of milk, a teaspoon of vanilla extract, a minute quantity of ground cinnamon and nutmeg and dash salt.
  • Beat this paste until it becomes uniform and thin.
  • Take this paste and pour it over the bread.
  • Make sure that the paste is applied uniformly over all the loaves. The uniform thickness is vital.
  • If you have placed one toast above the other, place the mixture in between slices as well.
  • Cover all loaves of bread with foil and refrigerate it for the night.
  • The next morning, preheat your oven.
