Ayurvedic recipe Cooked Fruit

SERVES : 2 - 4
INGREDIENTS :
- 1 apple, any sweet variety, or 1 ripe juicy pear
- 3 cloves
- 1/4 cup pure water
METHOD
- Peel and core fruit and cut into 1/2" cubes.
- Place all the ingredients in a pot, and cook, covered, for 5-8 minutes until fruit is soft.
- Check occasionally to make sure fruit does not burn--add a little more water if necessary.
- Discard the cloves and serve warm.
