Chicken Fried Rice Recipe
Chicken Fried rice is a popular component of Asian cuisine, especially Chinese food and Indian food.

SERVES : 6 - 8
INGREDIENTS :
- Sesame oil - 1/2 tblsp
- Onion - 1
- Cooked, cubed chicken meat - 1/2 pounds
- Soy sauce - 2 tblsps
- Large carrots, diced - 2
- Celery, chopped - 2 stalks
- Red bell pepper, diced - 1 large
- Fresh pea pods, halved - 3/4 cup
- Green bell pepper, diced - 1/2 large
- Cooked white rice - 6 cups
- Eggs - 2
- Soy sauce - 1/3 cup
METHOD
- Heat oil in a pan and fry onion till it becomes soft
- Add chicken and 2 tblsps soy sauce and stir-fry for 5 to 6 minutes.
- Add the carrots, celery, red bell pepper, pea pods and green bell pepper and stir-fry another 5 minutes.
- Then add rice and stir thoroughly.
- Finally, stir in scrambled eggs and 1/3 cup soy sauce, heat through and serve hot.
